UV reunites at Maxwells for jam sessions
The guys took over Maxwell's Music House for a couple jam sessions. The energy was high and the music is still there! Stay tuned....
Simplify music video... awarded at Worldfest
Simplify picks up a Gold Remi! The Micheal Mercy music video for Simplify picked up a Gold Remi award at the Houston Worldfest International Film Festival. Also honoured was the Michael Mercy short "The Passenger" which picked up a Platinum Remi. The Passenger was scored by Fane and Mariusz Belawa and featured Fane as "The Passenger".

Acuity Premier
Acuity launches with a successful premier! Micheal Mercy's latest film Acuity premiered April 28th and had the crowd laughing and crying! The movie raised $1000.00 for the Canadian Cancer Society.
Music for the movie was created by Fane and Mariusz Belawa and featured songs by Hangdog Sly, Ultraviolet, and Fane.
Acuity Premier Moved to Frederick Twin Cinema
Due to scheduling issues the Acuity Premier will now be at the Frederick Twin Cinema , Frederick Mall , Kitchener. Time is the same 4:00 pm April 28th. Tell your friends!
Acuity Release Date
Acuity release date is set....The Michael Mercy film "Acuity" will premier Saturday April 28th @ 4:00 at The Princess Twin Cinemas in Uptown Waterloo. Tickets are $10.00 each with proceeds going to the Cancer Society. Seating is limited. Contact casting@scorpio-dragon.com or info@ultravioletmusic.com for tickets.

UV songs in new film
Ultraviolet featured in new Micheal Mercy film Acuity. Acuity, starring Mark Folkes among others, features songs from Ultraviolet's debut album, as well as Hangdog Sly and Fane. The movie, set to debut this spring, was scored by Mariusz Bielawa and Fane.

April '05, Video shoot begins
First part of video shoot,The first of four parts of the new video, directed by Micheal Mercy, went off without a hitch. The band tried "something different" on this shoot. A great time was had by all. The next segment will be shot on April 18th. The band is also preparing to hit the studio again to record more songs. More to come as they unfold. Watch for Ultraviolet live at The Starlight Club, coming soon. A date should be announced shortly.
March 2005, Ultraviolet gets shot
Ultraviolet gets shot, April 3rdThe band will begin shooting the next video April 3rd. The video is set to pay tribute to all the artists who have inspired the band to become musicians and explore their craft. The band has also been busy writing new songs and are getting ready to begin recording in the next few weeks.

Ultraviolet prepares for next video shoot.The band and Micheal Mercy meet up once again to work out the details of the next video shoot. Set to shoot at several locations this video will pay tribute to the "masters" who have inspired the band.

Next Stop...Fiddler's Green, Cambridge The next stop for Ultraviolet is Fiddler's Green in Cambridge with Toronto's Staggered Crossing. The band is looking forward to trying out some new songs at the show. Come on out ! Rock and roll! It's gonna be a beautiful night!!

UV@ Phil's postponed
The Ultraviolet show at Phil's in Waterloo February 10th with Staggered Crossing has been postponed. It will be rescheduled at a later date. We will be sure to let you know when that happens. <> Ultraviolet and Staggered Crossing will rock the house the following week, February 17th, at Fiddler's Green in Cambridge. Mark your calendars!!
January 2005, Simplify video complete
"Simplify" video completed!! //The Michael Mercy video for "Simplify" is now completed and posted on the audio/video page! Michael has outdone himself this time with rich and stunning visuals. The band is very excited about this one. Plans are already in the works for the next.
December 2004, The Final Round
Lance of Ultraviolet was invited to appear on CTV's The Final Round with three other guests to debate current issues in the news. Hosted by Brent Hanson, the discussions covered topics such as the release of criminals from prison who are thought likley to repeat their offenses, to the current news issues surrounding same sex marriage in Canada.
